Summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, is hiring a Remote Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support. The role supports two Vice Presidents primarily (and limited support for 2–3 additional VPs) to improve efficiency through proactive calendar, inbox, travel, and documentation management across multiple corporate environments.

What you'll do

  • Provide primary administrative and operational support to two Vice Presidents; serve as main point of contact for calendar, email, travel, and related needs.
  • Provide secondary/minimal support to 2–3 additional Vice Presidents, focused on travel coordination, expense reporting, and minor administrative tasks.
  • Manage highly sensitive matters with confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Own and manage calendars and inboxes across two separate Microsoft O365 tenants; prioritize and align schedules across organizations.
  • Switch between distinct O365 tenants to coordinate meetings, respond to emails, and resolve scheduling conflicts without cross-tenant errors.
  • Maintain complex daily calendars including internal, external, and cross-organizational meetings.
  • Screen, triage, and manage high-volume email; respond independently where appropriate and escalate as needed.
  • Create and edit presentations, agendas, reports, and documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Arrange complex travel and prepare expense reports in accordance with company policy.
  • Draft correspondence for internal communications and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare VPs for meetings by researching and collecting information in advance.
  • Reconcile complex schedules and resolve conflicts proactively.
  • Complete ad hoc projects including offsite meetings, internal events, and special initiatives.
  • Represent the company and executives professionally with strong follow-through.
  • Maintain responsiveness to email, text, and phone communications; be available outside normal hours during travel periods when required.
  • Provide general assistance to visitors and support office-based needs as required.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume email and complex calendars in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including managing multiple accounts/tenants.
  • Advanced proficiency in Concur; experience supporting travel and expense management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate professionally at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Conditions

  • Remote position; East Coast preferred.
  • May require availability outside normal business hours during travel periods.
  • Flexible hours based on business needs for projects, meetings, and travel.
  • Compensation includes hourly pay range plus 5% MIP (incentive plan); additional bonus/long-term incentives may be offered.
