Planview AdaptiveWork (ex Clarizen) Administrator

An Icelandic energy company is seeking a Planview AdaptiveWork (Clarizen) Administrator to support and evolve their PPM platform across multiple subsidiaries. This operational role focuses on administering, configuring, and maintaining the AdaptiveWork system to ensure stability, optimize workflows, and support integrations aligned with business processes.

• Administer and configure Planview AdaptiveWork (Clarizen): users, roles, permissions, profiles, and business rules
• Maintain system stability, monitor performance, and clean up inconsistent configurations
• Design and optimize workflows, approval processes, and automation logic
• Simplify and rationalize existing customizations to reduce technical debt
• Support integrations with internal systems (APIs, REST, data exchange)
• Troubleshoot system issues, data flow problems, and automation failures
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for project/portfolio tracking
• Ensure data quality and consistency across projects and departments
• Document configurations, workflows, and provide user guidance
• Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, and IT teams to translate requirements into practical solutions

• Strong hands-on experience with Planview AdaptiveWork (Clarizen) administration and configuration
• Solid understanding of Project Management (PM) and SDLC processes
• Experience working with evolving/partially implemented systems
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of APIs, REST, JSON, and integrations
• Experience supporting system integrations and data exchange
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with limited documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
• Nice to have: Experience with other Planview ecosystem products, software engineering or data engineering background, experience stabilizing over-customized SaaS platforms, cross-cultural distributed team experience
