Water Policy Analyst - Entry Level
Summary
Cadmus is a consulting firm providing technology-empowered advisory and implementation services to government and commercial clients. The Water Policy Analyst (Entry Level) supports U.S. EPA and other government projects by researching water policy issues, analyzing data, and helping develop practical solutions to protect public health and drinking water.
What you'll do
- Conduct literature reviews, synthesize findings, and analyze data to inform water policy decisions and regulatory development/implementation.
- Draft and edit guidance documents, reports, case studies, and outreach materials for diverse audiences, including underserved communities.
- Support project managers with planning, coordination, and quality assurance to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across multiple projects.
- Develop training materials and communication tools for states, tribes, water systems, and schools.
- Participate in meetings, webinars, and stakeholder engagements; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet client needs and advance public health goals.
Requirements
Education/Experience: BS/BA in public health, sciences, social sciences, environmental science and policy, or related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in similar disciplines with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Skills: Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred: Coursework or applied experience in EPA regulatory programs, water science, or policy; outreach, training, or public speaking experience.
Attributes: Motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively; able to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen; may be required to obtain a security clearance.

Work arrangement: Hybrid; 3 days per week in office.
