Summary
Pinterest is seeking an Administrative Business Partner I to support senior leaders within the Engineering and Product leadership team. The role focuses on keeping leaders and teams organized and operating efficiently through complex scheduling, meeting support, relationship management, and event/travel coordination.
What you'll do
- Manage complex calendars with minimal direction; prioritize and make scheduling decisions based on business needs using independent judgment.
- Support leaders in tracking team OKRs, attend cross-functional meetings, and escalate gaps or obstacles to help ensure achievement of goals.
- Partner with leaders by providing insights, identifying challenges, and helping build positive relationships across teams and cross-functional partners.
- Adapt to organizational changes, team expansion, and onboarding; help surface concerns and brainstorm solutions with leaders.
- Support team meetings by drafting agendas and presentation decks, tracking action items, and taking meeting notes.
- Coordinate events and offsites: research/select venues and vendors, review contracts, draft/distribute communications, plan logistics, and manage budgets; collaborate with the Global Events Team for large-scale global/virtual events.
- Manage employee morale, recognition, and travel budgets for the leader.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including hotels and transportation, for executives and team events as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of administrative experience, including 2+ years supporting VP and Director-level executives in the tech industry.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- Proactive and self-directed; able to take ownership in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Workday, Expensify, and Navan.
- Collaborative team player who can drive tasks from start to finish with multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration (or similar) or equivalent experience.
Conditions
Location model: PinFlex; in-office for in-person collaboration up to 5 times per month (varies week to week); must be within commuting distance of the San Francisco office.
