Zoom is hiring a Fraud Analyst to support its Anti-Fraud team as operational demands grow and new products launch. The role focuses on investigating fraudulent activity, improving detection and automation, and helping maintain platform integrity while supporting on-call response quality.
What you'll do
- Analyze fraud alerts and customer tickets to identify and mitigate fraudulent activity.
- Investigate emerging fraud patterns and use data insights to enhance detection systems.
- Develop and maintain reports summarizing fraud trends and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., data engineering, product, security) to improve workflows and communication.
- Participate in on-call rotations and make timely decisions to protect platform integrity.
Requirements
- Academic foundation in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on analytical experience using SQL and Python.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and produce actionable insights to improve fraud detection.
- Problem-solving mindset; able to translate technical findings into clear business logic.
- Strong communication skills in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Collaborative approach, curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement attitude.
