The Senior Associate, Strategic Finance (Strategy & Reporting) supports cross-line-of-business monetization strategy and consolidated reporting, translating complex performance trends into clear materials for LinkedIn and Microsoft senior leadership. The role partners broadly across functions to drive insights, recommendations, and execution planning.
What you'll do
- Develop cross line-of-business monetization growth strategies and identify opportunities to unlock GTM operational efficiencies.
- Partner across Marketplace Strategic Finance, Infrastructure Finance, and Central Strategic Finance to produce insights, analyses, and recommendations for executive audiences.
- Build and deliver consolidated monetization reporting views for the LinkedIn Executive Team, Microsoft Senior Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.
- Communicate forecasts, analyses, and trends to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
- Create data-driven narratives to influence stakeholders using insights and metrics.
- Pressure-test and validate growth opportunities; operationalize ideas into executable plans with support as needed.
- Execute ad hoc analyses to address ambiguous business questions and derive actionable insights.
- Proactively identify obstacles and work with stakeholders to unblock initiatives.
- Contribute to culture, values, and inclusion through organization-wide events and initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related fields.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in the technology industry.
- Analytics/Tools (preferred): Experience with advanced data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to drive projects in a matrixed organization; strong stakeholder management and communication skills; experience partnering across Sales, Marketing, HR, and R&D.
- Suggested skills: Financial acumen, forecasting, data analysis, problem solving, project management.
Conditions
- Work model: Hybrid (both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
- Location options: San Francisco or Sunnyvale.
- Compensation: Pay range stated as $98,000–$158,000 annually; total compensation may include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentives.
