Data Analyst I

Little Caesars Pizza is seeking a Data Analyst I to deliver insights and support business leaders by procuring and analyzing data for functional analytics. The role partners with multiple business units to translate questions into data solutions and guide strategic decision-making through reporting, ad hoc analysis, and deeper investigations.

• Work with stakeholders to understand core issues and analytic needs.

• Translate business requirements across multiple functions into data solutions.

• Explore data to identify patterns and unearth new findings.

• Collect, clean, wrangle, and aggregate complex data from multiple sources.

• Solve business problems using statistical and inferential methods.

• Partner with Data Governance and Master Data Management to ensure policies, processes, methods, and tools keep data clean.

• Partner with Data Warehouse, Data Architects, and Engineering to ensure data availability and integrity from ingestion through analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field with proven data experience.

• 2 years of experience extracting and cleansing data to make it fit for use, including use of relevant tools.

• Excellent capability with Excel.

• Good capability using SQL queries to extract large datasets for EDA and related purposes.

• Experience with a data-focused programming language (R or Python).

• Understanding of data warehouse fundamentals, ideally in a cloud environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Nice to have: statistics, EDA, data transformation; hybrid technical environment experience; experience in large consumer-facing industries (auto, retail, QSR); Power BI/Tableau or similar visualization tools; Databricks/Jupyter or similar notebook tools.

• May require minimal travel to vendor locations, store assessments, Ilitch Companies facilities, data centers, or seminars/networking.

• Requires extended periods of sitting and talking on the phone.
