Summary
Morgan Stanley is hiring a Wealth Management Analyst to provide exceptional service to clients and support Financial Advisors/Private Wealth Advisors and their teams. The role focuses on client support and business development/operational support across digital marketing, portfolio and proposal tools, financial planning, and reporting/analysis.
What you'll do
- Support an FA/PWA/team by preparing for regular client meetings, tracking follow-ups, and helping deliver against the team’s client service model.
- Provide backup coverage for Client Service Associate responsibilities as needed, including executing money movement transactions, answering non-investment client account questions, and educating/enrolling clients in digital tools (e.g., MS Online).
- Accept/enter unsolicited orders and enter solicited orders in a clerical capacity when requested.
- Stay current on firm policies, procedures, and new platforms.
- Assist the FA/PWA/team in organizing and executing against the business plan; partner with stakeholders such as Practice Strategy Consultants and Branch Management.
- Execute administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies (conferences, seminars/webinars, websites, social media, and regular email connectivity).
- Prepare and review client reports and/or financial plans from firm-approved systems for existing or prospective clients.
- Assist with research using firm-approved systems.
- Participate in client and prospective client meetings as needed, representing the service lens.
- Participate in firm initiatives, training/education programs, special projects, and other duties as directed by local management.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of work experience in a field relevant to the position (required).
- Education: Four-year college degree or professional certification (preferred).
- Licensing: Active Series 7 required; and Series 66 required, or Series 63 and Series 65 required. Additional product licenses may be required.
- Product knowledge: Financial services products including equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts.
- Technical skills: Strong PC skills; expert knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and internet applications; quick learner of new platforms.
- Soft skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to prioritize and multitask; exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills; strong time management; collaborative team player; adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; goal-oriented and self-motivated.
Conditions
- Compensation: Expected base pay range $68,000–$120,000 per year (total compensation may also include commissions, incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other short/long-term incentives).

- Reporting line: Reports to Business Service Officer.
