Summary

Chedraui USA is seeking an Analyst, Consumer Insights to support consumer, market, and competitive research that guides marketing initiatives and corporate strategy. The role focuses on building expert competence in two mobile data tools and mining insights to support Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Store Design & Construction, and Strategy.

What you'll do

  • Develop and influence company strategy and structure for consumer insights data usage to deepen understanding of target customers.
  • Design and execute statistically sound qualitative research methodologies, surveys, and analytics.
  • Research, compare, and acquire new consumer insight sources and complementary datasets (e.g., demographics, market share, economic indices).
  • Manage external agencies, contracts, and partnerships; oversee quality of outputs and impact on marketing expenditures.
  • Investigate and resolve data integrity, reporting, and analytics issues by partnering with vendors and/or accessing systems of record.
  • Develop, execute, and summarize findings from customer surveys and research initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing and ad hoc research such as market studies, focus groups, customer intercepts, and mystery shops.
  • Build and maintain a centralized repository/knowledge base of intelligence gathering efforts and relevant published research.
  • Continuously improve research and analytics effectiveness and production efficiency.
  • Support the GVP by building and maintaining relationships as an insights partner across the organization.
  • Present results clearly and translate statistical and business terminology for senior management.
  • Interact productively with key decision makers and lead cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 3–5 years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Retail background highly desirable; grocery experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with consumer and market research tools and techniques.
  • Ability to design qualitative research and apply statistically sound methodologies.
  • Experience handling data integrity, reporting, and analytics problem-solving.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including translating technical/statistical concepts for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage vendors/agencies and lead cross-functional collaboration.

Conditions

  • Work location: Store Support Center, 600 Citadel Drive.
  • Salary range listed: $70,304.00–$90,000.00 annually (starting pay based on qualifications, experience, and relevant skills).
