Product Operations Engineer

Playtech is seeking a Product Operations Engineer for their POP (Playtech Open Platform) Team. The role involves managing release operations, handling production incidents, and ensuring service reliability. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical production systems.

• Participate in release management flow including applications setup, updates, and configuration changes
• Handle production problems and incidents with strong troubleshooting capabilities
• Process internal and external customer requests and issues
• Handle production system monitoring including alerting and dashboards
• Ensure services meet SLO targets
• Participate in 24/7 shift on-call rotation for critical production issue handling

• 2+ years of experience in L2 production application support
• Good Linux knowledge and hands-on experience
• Kubernetes basics understanding
• Knowledge of network communications and protocols (HTTP/S, WebSocket, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing)
• Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills
• Understanding of monitoring principles, alerting, performance and healthiness metrics
• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Kibana and Grafana
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (Git, Jenkins, Argo CD)
• Intermediate English proficiency or higher
• Bonus: Prometheus experience, MongoDB support experience, Terraform usage, programming/scripting skills
