As a Senior Associate, Insights Analytics Engineer supporting Marketing Solutions, you will use LinkedIn’s proprietary data to build and scale customer insights solutions that power sales and go-to-market storytelling.
What you'll do
- Partner cross-functionally to design, plan, and execute strategy for analytics programs and tools.
- Capture complex business requirements and create requirements documents and project plans; re-prioritize work based on impact and effort.
- Own end-to-end technical development for scaled insights solutions, including prototyping, development, and validation.
- Drive field-wide deployment of tools and programs, including launch planning, adoption enablement, and impact assessment.
- Build a communications plan to ensure awareness and effective delivery of new insights products/features and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Establish and maintain a high bar for compelling, scaled insights business cases.
- Identify and recommend scalable solutions to key customer challenges using LinkedIn data; advise stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and prepare data from large datasets.
- Analyze results to generate business insights and support data-driven storytelling for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: BA/BS in math, marketing, statistics, economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in project/program management or consulting with cross-functional teams.
- 3+ years in data analysis, data storytelling, and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting insights to stakeholders.
- 2+ years using SQL to query large datasets (e.g., Pig, Hive, Presto, Spark SQL).
- 2+ years using Python for data manipulation, batch processing, machine learning, and/or statistical analysis.
- Preferred: Digital marketing analytics experience; ability to manage complex multi-workstream programs; experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., Sales) to gather requirements and drive full-scale deployment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, and statistical/data analysis skills.
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
