Summary
Google is hiring a People Analyst to support the development of user-first HR products within the People Analytics team. The role uses research, analytics, and data products (e.g., dashboards and reporting solutions) to generate insights that improve organizational health and inform business decisions.
What you'll do
- Help stakeholders improve business processes using data and analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts to implement integrations and design analytical strategies.
- Provide employee feedback analysis, operational monitoring, and error resolution.
- Contribute to project execution and solve scaled operations problems in ambiguous, cross-team environments.
- Oversee execution of data-oriented analyses and influence business decision-making through insights and reporting for executive audiences.
- Build and maintain data and dashboard solutions to make data useful, reliable, and accessible for internal stakeholders.
- Manage ongoing client relationships, prioritize work, and navigate competing needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience interacting with and manipulating data using tools such as SQL, R, or other statistical languages.
- 5+ years of experience working with multiple data sources, combining information to generate insights, and creating reporting solutions for an executive audience (e.g., dashboards, tables, templates, metrics).
- Preferred: experience collaborating across multiple teams and managing ongoing client relationships.
- Preferred: experience using quantitative and qualitative approaches to measure effectiveness of programs and interventions.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML technologies or investigative approaches.
- Preferred: strong SQL experience analyzing large datasets and presenting insights via data visualizations to executives.
Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Compensation (US base salary range): $117,000–$168,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Pay varies by work location, skills, experience, and education/training.
