What you'll do
- Provide administrative assistance, including drafting communications and editing emails on behalf of executives.
- Organize meetings by managing logistics, scheduling, and preparing materials.
- Maintain comprehensive records and manage the executive’s calendar, prioritizing sensitive matters.
- Coordinate and manage the internal Task Management System for document routing and taskers.
- Prepare weekly reports on tasking status for the Assistant Commandant for Human Resources.
Requirements
High school degree required.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English.
Ability to adapt to change and navigate unexpected challenges.
Proven capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including MS Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
Preferred: 1–2 years of administrative experience, especially in a government or military environment.
Preferred: Experience with the US Coast Guard, DHS, or DoD.
Preferred: Public trust clearance desired but not required.
