EA to Co-Founder - Private Equity - $130-150k base
Summary
Mission Staffing’s client in the private equity space is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Co-Founder in a fast-paced environment. The role provides high-level administrative and strategic support to maximize executive effectiveness while handling sensitive information with discretion.
What you'll do
- Manage the executive’s calendar, schedule meetings, and prioritize appointments to ensure efficient time management.
- Prepare and organize meeting materials such as agendas, presentations, and reports.
- Handle inbound communications (calls, emails, messages) and ensure timely, appropriate responses.
- Plan and coordinate complex travel itineraries (flights, accommodations, ground transportation) with attention to cost and time efficiency.
- Anticipate travel needs and manage travel documentation and expenses.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives to completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct research and prepare briefs to support decision-making.
- Act as liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders; coordinate communication across departments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and apply sound judgment when managing competing priorities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
3–12 years of experience (as listed) supporting C-Suite/Department Head executives or senior management in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience managing complex calendars and travel logistics.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively; high integrity, professionalism, and proactive attitude.
Conditions
Location: in-office in New York (4–5 days per week).
Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 base salary plus 15%–30% bonus.
