Summary
SonderAds is seeking an Analytics Team Lead to develop and lead their analytics department with 8+ years of experience in data analytics and infrastructure. The role focuses on building data architecture, automating processes, establishing key metrics, and driving business results through data-driven decision making.
What you'll do
- Audit and assess current analytics and data infrastructure
- Manage and lead the analytics team (2 Data Analysts)
- Design and develop analytical and functional dashboards for key metrics across buying, creatives, product, and business teams
- Develop and implement automation algorithms for traffic acquisition with complex business logic
- Collect and integrate data through advertising and product platform APIs
- Perform predictive and proactive analytics to identify issues
- Identify growth points and scaling opportunities
- Calculate user LTV and analyze key factors affecting it
- Analyze conversion funnels and participate in optimization
- Conduct analytical research focused on revenue growth
- Lead analytics team through priority setting, competency development, mentoring, and hiring
Requirements
- 7+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics infrastructure
- 3+ years in marketing analytics and digital advertising
- 3+ years managing and leading an analytics team
- Strong proficiency in Python or R (3+ years hands-on)
- Advanced SQL skills and practical BigQuery experience
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data system architecture and scalability
- Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Looker
- Experience with tracking and attribution platforms (Appsflyer, Adjust, Voluum, AppMetrica)
- Experience with APIs and integration principles
- Practical experience with Docker and cloud services (Cloud Run, Workflows, Artifact Registry)
- Strong analytical skills and structured thinking
- High attention to detail and self-organization
- Ability to communicate analytical conclusions to non-technical teams
- Higher education in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, data science, IT, or related fields
- Experience developing algorithms with complex data processing
- Business-oriented mindset focused on Gross Profit, ARPU, ROI, Retention, and LTV
