Summary
Beeline is an extended workforce platform company helping organizations manage and integrate global workforce data across technology stacks. The Junior Data Analyst will join the Data & AI team to build trusted, accessible analytics and data products within a Microsoft Fabric ecosystem to support business decision-making.
What you'll do
- Query and analyze data using Microsoft Fabric SQL endpoints and Lakehouse.
- Support data transformations across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Assist in building and maintaining semantic models for reporting.
- Perform exploratory data analysis using SQL, Python (or notebooks), and Power BI.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
- Support KPI definition, metric standardization, and documentation.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create and maintain DAX measures aligned to business definitions.
- Ensure dashboards are intuitive, performant, and aligned to business needs.
- Contribute to reusable data products rather than one-off reports.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Work with Data Scientists to prepare and validate datasets.
- Collaborate with Platform/Engineering teams on data availability and structure.
- Participate in agile workflows, demos, and code reviews.
- Continuously develop skills in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and analytics engineering and gain exposure to data science/AI use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
- Understanding of basic data analysis and statistical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with ability to explain insights clearly.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or modern data platforms.
- Basic experience with Python or notebooks for analysis.
- Familiarity with data modeling, DAX, or semantic layers.
- Experience via internships, academic projects, bootcamps.
Conditions
- Hybrid operating model.
- Salary range stated: $50k–$70k annually.
