Fulfillment and Operations Specialist
Summary
Arrae is a mission-driven wellness brand seeking a Retail Fulfillment and Operations Specialist to support its growing retail business. The role focuses on ensuring retailer purchase orders are shipped accurately, on time, and fully compliant while monitoring retail inventory levels. You will coordinate fulfillment, documentation, logistics, and communication across internal teams, warehouses, carriers, and retail partners.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and process retailer purchase orders (POs) from receipt through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date records of active POs, including status, next steps, and key deadlines.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to ensure shipments meet retailer routing guides and packaging/labeling requirements.
- Use EDI systems to submit order details and required documentation to warehouses and retailers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory teams to ensure product availability for PO fulfillment.
- Identify and flag potential inventory issues or delays and work cross-functionally to resolve them proactively.
- Coordinate outbound shipments (freight, parcel, and collect) to meet retailer delivery windows.
- Submit and manage routing requests via retailer portals or EDI, ensuring timely carrier assignment and pickup scheduling.
- Communicate with carriers and retail partners to confirm pickups, track shipments, and resolve transit or scheduling issues.
- Evaluate feasibility of fulfillment timelines and request necessary PO adjustments.
- Track fulfillment and shipment status and communicate potential delays to the retail team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in retail order fulfillment or logistics, preferably with high-volume retailers.
Familiarity with fulfillment requirements and compliance protocols for major retailers (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; EDI experience highly preferred.
Conditions
Anticipated annual base salary range: $60,000–$70,000 (competitive compensation may vary by experience, qualifications, and location).
