Associate, Finance & Strategy, Growth & Monetization

Netflix is hiring an Associate, Finance & Strategy for the Growth & Monetization Strategy team to help improve the member product experience and drive business value. The role evaluates monetization models, pricing and plan features across markets and platforms using consumer behavior insights and financial analysis.

• Build business cases to inform commerce strategies, including new monetization models, pricing strategies, and plan features.

• Develop frameworks to evaluate business performance, guide strategic direction, and enable aligned decision-making.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify and size new growth opportunities.

• Analyze consumer demand, price elasticity, and willingness to pay across markets and segments to inform pricing and tiering strategies.

• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance and assess financial impact of strategic decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Data Science & Engineering, Consumer Insights, Corporate Finance, Growth Product) to align and support initiatives.

• Create memos and presentation materials to communicate strategies and influence stakeholders.

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy or analytics roles (preference for in-house/corporate strategy experience; mix with consulting/banking/professional services acceptable).

• Strong financial modeling skills and comfort manipulating large datasets in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor complexity and detail to the audience.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing, ambiguous environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines.

• Extraordinary attention to detail and ability to apply the 80/20 rule to problem solving.

• Full-time role with compensation typically as annual salary (no bonuses); employee can choose salary versus stock options annually.
