Summary
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Wealth Management Analyst to support Financial Advisors/Private Wealth Advisors and deliver exceptional client service. The role focuses on helping execute the team’s service model and business plan through client meeting preparation, reporting and analysis, financial planning support, research, and digital/in-person marketing coordination.
What you'll do
- Support FA/PWA/team client service model by preparing for client meetings and tracking follow-ups
- Provide backup coverage for Client Service Associate duties as needed (e.g., money movement transactions, answering non-investment account questions, enrolling clients in digital tools such as MS Online)
- Accept/enter unsolicited orders and/or enter solicited orders in a clerical capacity
- Stay current on firm policies, procedures, and new platforms
- Help organize and execute against the team business plan; partner with stakeholders such as Practice Strategy Consultants and Branch Management
- Execute administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies (conferences, seminars/webinars, websites, social media, email connectivity)
- Prepare and review client reports and/or financial plans using firm-approved systems
- Conduct research using firm-approved systems
- Participate in existing and prospective client meetings, representing the service lens
- Participate in firm initiatives, training/education programs, special projects, and other duties as directed by local management
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred
- Active Series 7 required
- Active Series 66 required, or Series 63 and Series 65 alternative
- Additional product licenses may be required
- Knowledge of financial services products (equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, managed accounts)
- Technical proficiency and ability to learn new/updated platforms quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and internet applications
- Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills
- Strong time management; collaborative team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; adaptable and able to multitask
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven
Conditions
- Compensation: expected base pay range $68,000–$120,000 per year (base pay is part of total compensation and may include incentives/bonuses and other programs)
