Senior Associate, Strategic Finance - Growth
Summary
LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Associate, Strategic Finance to support product strategy, reporting, and decision support for the Flagship (Consumer) experience. The role partners with the Growth (Acquire) team to expand the new user funnel, optimize acquisition channels, and drive experiences that activate and retain users.
What you'll do
- Identify and pressure-test growth opportunities and support strategy development with business partners.
- Operationalize ideas into execution plans and help drive initiative roadmaps using data-driven insights.
- Develop performance reporting and executive-ready narratives to inform product and growth decisions.
- Manage and analyze channel performance to understand and optimize acquisition and product outcomes.
- Size impact and support product teams in prioritizing roadmaps based on measurable outcomes.
- Communicate forecasts, analyses, and trends to cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
- Execute ad hoc analyses to test hypotheses and answer ambiguous or complex business questions.
- Proactively identify obstacles and help unblock execution across multiple senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to organizational culture and values, including diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance/accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related fields.
Preferred: 1+ years of experience in the technology industry.
Preferred: 1+ years partnering with Product, Growth, or Engineering teams to translate insights into product/growth strategy recommendations.
Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Suggested skills: decision making, financial acumen, forecasting, problem solving, project management.
Conditions
Hybrid work model (performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
Role based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale.
