Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst
Summary
Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is hiring an Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure product availability. The role supports cross-functional teams with data-driven forecasting and operational coordination across inbound and outbound product flow.
What you'll do
- Monitor and mitigate inventory overselling and underselling situations.
- Identify and correct inventory biases and discrepancies.
- Manage overstocks and discontinued items, including communication and resolution.
- Track and report 180+ day aged inventory and coordinate closeout actions.
- Oversee beer code management and compliance with date-sensitive product requirements.
- Perform regular sales forecasting and demand planning using internal tools.
- Collaborate with Sales, KAMs, and stakeholders to gather market intelligence and adjust forecasts.
- Manage new item forecasting and setup in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy through MAPE management and continuous improvement.
- Manage new item receiving notifications to support accurate inbound planning.
- Coordinate freight logistics, scheduling, and communications with carriers.
- Administer supplier claims by documenting and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier and freight invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
- Ensure accurate item setup in systems (attributes, categories, replenishment parameters).
- Provide reporting on inventory health, forecasting accuracy, closeouts, and exceptions.
- Partner with IT/Systems teams to troubleshoot and improve planning tools.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or demand forecasting.
Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and planning systems (e.g., Logility, SAP, or similar).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
