Analyst, YouTube Intelligence

Beast Industries (MrBeast) is a global media and entertainment company creating digital content, philanthropy, and consumer ventures at massive scale. The Analyst, YouTube Intelligence tracks and analyzes performance across Beast YouTube channels to power creative and packaging decisions through reporting, insights, and trend monitoring.

• Maintain real-time performance visibility across all Beast YouTube channels using dashboards and daily tracking.
• Monitor upload-cycle performance for new videos and Shorts, flagging early signals and surfacing actionable trends.
• Track key variables that inform ideation, creative direction, production, and editing decisions.
• Produce weekly performance reports, translating raw data into clear narratives (what happened, why, and what to change).
• Contribute to monthly roll-up reporting on broader trends, content-mix effectiveness, and channel trajectory.
• Run post-mortems on long-form videos and Shorts; pull data and draft initial insights for review by the Senior Manager.
• Track competitor and emerging creator activity (formats, packaging experiments, strategies) and flag relevant signals.
• Monitor YouTube platform changes and trending topics across long-form, Shorts, live streams, and community posts.
• Maintain competitive tracking systems to benchmark Beast channels vs. the broader YouTube landscape.
• Proactively identify emerging trends, viral format shifts, and high-growth niches and present findings unprompted.
• Present insights to channel leads and creative teams; ensure recommendations are understood and implemented.
• Support thumbnail, ideation, and post-production teams with lifecycle-timed performance insights.
• Use AI tools to increase analytical speed, depth, automation, and output.

• Deep knowledge of YouTube and its performance drivers (algorithm, impressions, breakouts), gained through creator work, running a channel, or platform-side experience.
• High proficiency with spreadsheets and comfort building dashboards.
• Working familiarity with SQL or similar query tools.
• Active, practical use of AI tools in analytics workflows to automate repetitive work and accelerate analysis.
• Strong communication skills to translate analysis for non-technical, creative audiences.
• High ownership, speed, reliability, and attention to detail; able to work independently and proactively.
• Strong passion for YouTube content and curiosity about what makes content perform.
