Summary
Haystack is working with Booz Allen Hamilton to hire a Cost Analyst to support U.S. Navy and military clients. The role focuses on building cost models and delivering decision-ready insights through advanced analysis and visualization.
What you'll do
- Develop and refine complex financial and cost models for government clients across the program lifecycle.
- Create and present interactive dashboards and leadership-ready views using Tableau or Power BI.
- Build and improve Program Office Estimates, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and ad hoc cost models.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis using Python and R.
- Analyze spend plans and budget inputs, develop program briefs, and participate in programmatic meetings.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in detailed cost or financial estimation, analysis, or forecasting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex logic-based formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP).
Experience applying statistical analysis to forecasting and strategic decision support.
Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
