Customer Success Manager - Hiring

Summary

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, is hiring a Customer Success Manager to help customers achieve significant ROI and business success from their LinkedIn investment. The role partners closely with sales and customer stakeholders to drive onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion through insights, education, and advocacy.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a customer champion and advocate, helping customers realize value from their LinkedIn investment.

  • Partner with sales counterparts on prioritized customers to drive adoption, improve customer success, and mitigate churn risk.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to end users and management to drive product adoption aligned to operational priorities and business value.

  • Use client usage and industry metrics to generate insights that increase engagement and adoption.

  • Analyze engagement metrics and leverage the Learning Center to deliver new and ongoing product education.

  • Track and record customer activity promptly in systems of record (e.g., Dynamics).

  • Identify churn risk (e.g., low utilization) and provide solutions to maintain healthy engagement.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of LinkedIn products and best practices to guide customers effectively.

  • Interpret customer insights to influence product change and represent the voice of the customer to LinkedIn Product teams.

  • Expedite technical and purchase-related escalations.

  • Advance personal journey with Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging as a priority for LinkedIn and its customers.

  • Support partnership success via strong executive engagement quality and validated ROI delivery (without owning renewal/growth quota).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in one or more of: Customer Success, Account Management/Sales, Consulting, Product Training and Enablement, Project Management, or Change Management.

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills; ability to manage relational challenges.

  • Organizational, project management, and time management skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, trends, and client information to identify product or growth opportunities tied to customer value.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to small and large audiences.

  • Fundamental understanding of Sales concepts and Software as a Service (SaaS).

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Preferred domain experience: recruiting/talent, learning, e-Learning, organizational L&D, product enablement, sales effectiveness.

Conditions

  • Location: San Francisco; hybrid work (mix of home and LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).

  • Minimum travel may be required.

  • Compensation range stated as $74,000 to $119,000 annually; total compensation may include annual performance bonus, stock, and benefits.
