Director of Operations

Summary

Seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead all day\-to\-day and strategic functions for a premier mixed\-use property. This role oversees maintenance, capital projects, infrastructure, and grounds, ensuring the property operates safely, efficiently, and at the highest visual and service standards. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Operations partners cross\-functionally with Public Safety, Guest Experience, Leasing, Development, and IT to deliver an exceptional tenant and guest experience while protecting the long\-term value of the asset. What You’ll Do: * Lead and develop a high\-performing team overseeing maintenance, operations, infrastructure, and landscaping. * Manage 24/7 property operations and preventative maintenance programs across large\-scale mixed\-use facilities. * Oversee capital projects — from HVAC, roofing, and lighting to major infrastructure and environmental initiatives. * Partner with Leasing and Development on tenant buildouts, renovations, and new construction within a live environment. * Manage vendor contracts, budgets, and capital planning to ensure operational excellence and cost control. * Foster a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement across all departments. What We’re Looking For: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction, or a related field. * 7–10 years of progressive experience in operations, facilities, or property management — ideally in large campus or mixed\-use environments. * Proven success leading managers/supervisors and 24/7 operational teams. * Strong background in capital planning, budgeting, and vendor management. * Collaborative leader with exceptional communication, organization, and analytical skills.
