Summary

Harry Winston is seeking a US Merchandising Analyst to support planned inventory levels and optimize merchandise assortments across the US salon network. The role partners with US retail teams and global merchandising to manage allocation and replenishment while delivering sales and inventory analysis to maximize profitability and elevate the client experience.

What you'll do

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly stock allocation, replenishment, rotation, rebalancing, and transfers across the US salon network.
  • Conduct daily sales reviews and analyze stock and sales performance; report store-specific and regional trends and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Serve as liaison to US salons to facilitate merchandise transfers supporting sales opportunities, client requests, and appointment needs.
  • Ensure product representation and adherence to visual merchandising standards in line with global guidelines and company policies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, PR, Product Management, Logistics, Global Merchandising) on launches, campaigns, events, exhibitions, photoshoots, and in-salon activations.
  • Execute stock allocations for US-specific initiatives (new launches, salon openings/re-openings) in coordination with global merchandising.
  • Support stock fulfillment for US marketing initiatives and client-facing events.
  • Manage and monitor replenishment shipments to US salons, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Support client appointments as needed, including stock coordination and post-appointment follow-up to capture outcomes and insights.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts/managers to review assortment parameters, provide US market feedback, and support global distribution strategy implementation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with salon teams and internal partners.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and support on special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in merchandising, planning, or allocations.

  • Luxury retail and/or fine or high jewelry experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas) and strong retail math skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with US and global teams.

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-solving skills, adaptability, flexibility, and initiative.

  • Commercial awareness of the US luxury retail landscape.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional partners.
