Summary

Farmer’s Fridge makes fresh, healthy ready-to-eat meals accessible through a nationwide network of fresh food vending machines, wholesale partners, and office pantry solutions. The Data Analyst role supports rapid growth by turning large volumes of data into models and actionable insights to improve product, acquisition, retention, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Complete analytics requests across teams (sales, operations, finance, supply chain, marketing) to support decision-making.
  • Build, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau and Hex to monitor business performance.
  • Automate recurring/manual reporting to reduce stakeholder effort and increase speed to action.
  • Rebuild, retire, or consolidate outdated reports and dashboards to maintain a reliable analytics environment.
  • Migrate reporting from Google Sheets to Tableau or Hex for scalability, consistency, and self-service.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake and create analytical workflows in Hex for ad-hoc and scheduled reporting.
  • Document data processes, definitions, and solutions to enable transparency and self-service analytics.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in an analytics or BI role.
  • Strong SQL skills; ability to write complex queries against a data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) from day one.
  • Proficiency in Tableau; able to independently build, publish, and maintain dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting findings and partnering with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools in day-to-day workflow.

  • Nice to have:

    • Experience with or interest in analytics engineering concepts (dbt, data modeling, ETL).
  • Based in Chicago or willing to relocate; in-office role.

Conditions

  • Location/Schedule:

    • In-office role in Chicago (relocation accepted).

  • Compensation:

    • Base salary range: $90,000–$100,000 annually (eligible for performance-based bonus and equity).
