Senior Director, Product Management

Summary

Sortly is a remote-first inventory management company building a visual, intuitive multi-device solution used by SMBs and larger organizations. The Senior Director of Product Management will lead core product strategy across inventory management, replenishment, and growth initiatives, evolving Sortly into an intelligent Asset & Consumables Tracking (ACT) platform. This role drives both product-led growth and enterprise expansion while building and scaling the product management function.

What you'll do

  • Lead product strategy for Sortly product lines including inventory management, replenishment, and product-led growth optimization.
  • Build, lead, and scale a team of product managers across core product areas.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver cohesive product experiences.
  • Translate customer feedback and market insights into product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
  • Establish product development processes, metrics, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Partner with senior leadership on long-term product vision and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to ensure product-market fit across customer segments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (Director or above) in a B2B SaaS company; startup experience preferred.
  • Proven track record launching new products from concept to market.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering on complex technical product decisions.
  • Experience balancing short-term execution with long-term product vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to use customer insights to drive product decisions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations software.
  • Experience scaling product teams to 5+ PMs.
  • Experience with marketplace or platform products.
  • Track record expanding products from SMB to enterprise.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation and business process software.
  • Direct experience building and optimizing product-led growth strategies and metrics.
