IT Operations, Automation Specialist

TalentsToday is seeking an IT Operations & Automation Specialist for a 23-month project-based role. The position focuses on streamlining internal IT infrastructure by building robust automations and optimizing core SaaS management platforms including Jamf, Intune, Okta, and Google Workspace. This role is ideal for someone who excels at connecting different systems to create seamless, secure, and automated experiences for employees.

• Design, build, and deploy automated workflows using Zapier, n8n, or similar tools to eliminate manual IT tasks such as onboarding/offboarding and access requests
• Audit and refine Jamf (macOS) and Microsoft Intune (Windows) environments, focusing on perfecting Autopilot and automated deployment profiles
• Administer Okta (SSO, MFA) ensuring smooth integrations with third-party SaaS apps and maintaining security policies
• Manage and optimize the Google Workspace admin console, including group policies, security settings, and data management
• Troubleshoot and enhance system integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON
• Create clear, non-technical user guides and detailed technical documentation for newly created automations and processes

• 3+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT support within modern SaaS-heavy environments
• Proven track record of building complex workflows in Zapier or n8n
• Hands-on experience with Jamf and Microsoft Intune (Windows Autopilot experience is a significant plus)
• Solid experience configuring and managing Okta (SSO, integrations, and lifecycle management)
• Deep knowledge of Google Workspace administration
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and authentication protocols (OAuth/OIDC)
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and write structured documentation
• Plus: Scripting experience (Python or Bash), prior experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environment, familiarity with IT security best practices
