Finance Operations Specialist

Peanut Trade is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to join their finance team in a fully remote role. This hands-on position supports day-to-day financial operations with a focus on accounting operations, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Work with vendors and partners on invoices, reconciliations, and contracting
• Maintain accounting records and reconciliations across entities
• Manage accounting operations with primary focus on the expense side
• Manage the month-end close process and help prepare timely management accounts
• Coordinate and support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances
• Prepare reports on costing per product and per client
• Support the team with bonus calculations
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Work extensively with Excel and financial data
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and finance team on daily financial operations

• Previous experience in finance operations, financial manager, finance specialist, accounting, or similar role
• Experience working with month-end reconciliations, quarterly accounts, budgets, and KPIs
• Advanced experience with accounting systems, treasury systems, and budgets
• Solid practical background in finance, accounting, or business economics
• Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
• Ability to handle routine financial processes accurately and independently
• Confidence working with spreadsheets, reporting, and financial data
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a small, hands-on team

Work Format: Full-time, Fully remote

Nice to Have: Experience in Web3/crypto environments, accounting or finance systems expertise, stronger-than-average technical skills for finance profile, experience with databases or advanced spreadsheet logic, knowledge of local GAAP and tax law, English proficiency, Excel expertise, familiarity with on-chain tokens and smart contracts
