Supply Chain Analysts
Summary
Largeton Group is seeking Supply Chain Analysts to support a railroad and transportation client’s Crew Services portfolio in Atlanta. The role manages sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships for transportation and lodging for Train & Engine (T&E) crews and other employees, with a focus on compliance, service quality, and cost control.
What you'll do
- Manage contractors providing crew transportation and lodging services across the client system.
- Negotiate and manage contracts; ensure compliance with contractual terms, service quality, operational efficiency, and cost control.
- Collaborate with the Crew Services team and internal stakeholders to develop and optimize transportation and lodging strategies to increase efficiency and drive cost savings.
- Monitor contractors for compliance with operational safety policies and environmental awareness while working on or around client property.
- Support sourcing and purchasing activities for crew transportation and lodging to enable cross-category resource planning visibility.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years; preferred 6–10 years in relevant supply chain/procurement/vendor management or crew services-related work.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
Technical: SAP; Power BI; Python; MS Excel; MS Word; MS PowerPoint; MS Access; familiarity with web-based portals/applications.
Skills: Analytical thinking, adaptive thinking, communication, decision making, empowering others, legal/contract writing and review.
Plus: Working knowledge of Crew Services activities, methods, facilities, equipment, and operating regions.
Conditions
Location/Schedule: Hybrid onsite; must be local and willing to commute; work location Atlanta, GA 30308.
Contract: 12+ month contract.
