Summary
Hickory partners with craftsmen and business owners and is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a key executive (or small group of senior leaders). The role focuses on managing complex schedules, communications, and day-to-day operational coordination while handling confidential information with discretion.
What you'll do
- Manage and maintain complex executive calendars; schedule meetings, appointments, and conferences; resolve conflicts.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and detailed itineraries.
- Prepare, review, and organize documents, presentations, and reports for meetings and distribution.
- Serve as primary point of contact/gatekeeper for calls, emails, and correspondence; prioritize communications.
- Process and track expense reports, invoices, and departmental budgets.
- Plan and coordinate company events, off-sites, and team meetings; manage logistics.
- Maintain filing systems and manage office supplies and inventory for the executive’s office.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience supporting C-level or senior executives in a fast-paced and/or startup environment.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build trust and partner effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
