Senior Legal Counsel

TradingView is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead legal strategy and provide senior-level counsel across commercial, intellectual property, and data protection matters. This role focuses on negotiating complex technology agreements, managing vendor relationships, and advising cross-functional teams on legal and compliance risks in a fast-paced, global fintech environment.

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of complex commercial agreements with technology partners, vendors, and service providers
• Provide senior-level legal counsel to executives on intellectual property, data protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory matters
• Own vendor legal governance and advise on contract status, liability, and risk mitigation
• Partner with Security, Engineering, Product, Compliance, and HR teams on legal alignment and incident response
• Lead intellectual property strategy for protection, enforcement, and commercialization globally
• Design and implement legal processes and contract management frameworks
• Advise on data protection, GDPR compliance, and cross-border data transfer obligations
• Identify, assess, and report on legal and compliance risks
• Develop policies, playbooks, and training for legal and data governance
• Support strategic initiatives and regulatory readiness projects

• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in commercial technology, intellectual property, and vendor contracting
• Proven experience supporting global technology, fintech, or SaaS businesses with exposure to regulated environments
• Deep expertise in negotiating complex commercial, technology, SaaS, cloud, and data processing agreements
• Demonstrated knowledge of intellectual property strategy including software, trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets
• Solid understanding of data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity frameworks including GDPR
• High level of independence, sound judgment, and ownership with ability to lead end-to-end matters
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth, product-driven environments
