Summary
Stepmania is building social, fitness, and entertainment products on Telegram, with a focus on gamifying daily activity through rewards and challenges. We are seeking a Middle Data Analyst to support seasonal and small-scale product initiatives during our early launch phase, with plans to scale to several million active users.
What you'll do
- Support the launch and monitoring of seasonal and small-scale products, ensuring data-driven decisions
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards for product and business teams
- Analyze product funnels, user behavior, and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and improvement areas
- Formulate hypotheses, run analyses, and present actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to implement tracking and event instrumentation
- Conduct ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses to support fast-moving product initiatives
- Deliver actionable insights under tight deadlines, balancing speed and analytical depth
Requirements
- Experience in product analytics, preferably in startups
- Experience building end-to-end analytics for product launches
- Strong understanding of funnels, metrics, and user behavior
- Advanced SQL skills
- Python or other scripting language at intermediate or higher level
- Experience building dashboards in BI tools (Grafana, Superset, Looker, etc.)
- Applied statistics knowledge
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience working on seasonal or short-term product launches
- Experience in the gaming industry
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
- Experience analyzing seasonal, event-based, or limited-time product initiatives
- Experience with automation or data pipelines
