Analyst, Revenue Forecasting
Summary
Airbnb is seeking an Analyst, Revenue Forecasting to help shape the company’s financial outlook through accurate global topline revenue forecasting and revenue planning. This role partners with Strategic Finance leaders, Data Science, and cross-functional teams to improve forecasting models, reporting, and executive communication. The position focuses on building data-backed insights that enhance revenue planning capabilities for Core Stays.
What you'll do
Partner with Strategic Finance leaders and Data Scientists to improve forecast accuracy, enhance existing revenue models, and support development of new forecasting frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Policy, Treasury, Payments) to assess and quantify key risks and opportunities.
Develop and maintain reporting to define, track, and monitor forecasted metrics at country-level granularity.
Create executive presentations in Google Slides communicating key trends and forecast performance, including root-cause analysis.
Support monthly and quarterly financial review cycles with timely, high-quality analysis and deliverables.
Deliver actionable insights via reporting and analytics; proactively identify process enhancements for accuracy, efficiency, speed, and accessibility (including workflow automation).
Requirements
2+ years of experience in strategic finance, product analytics, business intelligence, management consulting, or investment banking.
B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university.
Strong financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses to uncover business drivers and generate insights.
Proficiency in SQL, including writing, optimizing, and interpreting complex queries.
Experience with Tableau; proficiency in Python or R is a significant plus.
Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across levels and make actionable recommendations.
Experience with presentation/collaboration tools including G Suite and Keynote.
Highly organized, independent, and self-motivated with a commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
Conditions
US remote eligible; occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites as agreed with the manager.
Must live in a US state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states excluded; eligibility list may change).
Compensation includes base pay range and may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
