Product Operations Manager

Summary

Uber is hiring a Product Operations Manager to help ensure the Consumer team builds and operationalizes the right products to drive growth and efficiency. The role partners cross-functionally to identify opportunities, prioritize and test solutions, manage rollouts, and communicate throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Define operating structures and processes to implement product strategy
  • Lead a community of strategic leaders to drive business impact
  • Maintain regular communications with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Align functional partners on key objectives for programs and products
  • Advise product teams on global feasibility throughout the product lifecycle
  • Develop end-to-end product rollout plans and project-manage implementation
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, policy, support, and other partners to prepare products for launch
  • Track core business metrics related to products
  • Identify post-launch problem areas and impacted geographies
  • Surface and advocate business insights to drive product improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Product, Operations, Program Management, Consulting, Finance, or similar roles
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage internal and external customers
  • Strong understanding of user experience
  • Ability to leverage data to inform and support critical decisions
  • Proven ability to drive strategic alignment across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Self-starter mindset with strong motivation to learn and grow
  • Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork
  • Effective prioritization skills
  • Preferred: experience on global/international projects
  • Preferred: SQL proficiency and deep analytical expertise
  • Preferred: experience with consumer-facing products and apps
  • Preferred: experience bringing products to market from 0 to 1 with operations/commercial teams
  • Preferred: experience working with user or market research teams
  • Preferred: proven project and stakeholder management across large, complex initiatives
  • Preferred: strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Preferred: ability to juggle competing priorities
