Summary
Uber is hiring a Product Operations Manager to help ensure the Consumer team builds and operationalizes the right products to drive growth and efficiency. The role partners cross-functionally to identify opportunities, prioritize and test solutions, manage rollouts, and communicate throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Define operating structures and processes to implement product strategy
- Lead a community of strategic leaders to drive business impact
- Maintain regular communications with key stakeholders across the organization
- Align functional partners on key objectives for programs and products
- Advise product teams on global feasibility throughout the product lifecycle
- Develop end-to-end product rollout plans and project-manage implementation
- Collaborate with legal, tax, policy, support, and other partners to prepare products for launch
- Track core business metrics related to products
- Identify post-launch problem areas and impacted geographies
- Surface and advocate business insights to drive product improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in Product, Operations, Program Management, Consulting, Finance, or similar roles
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage internal and external customers
- Strong understanding of user experience
- Ability to leverage data to inform and support critical decisions
- Proven ability to drive strategic alignment across cross-functional stakeholders
- Self-starter mindset with strong motivation to learn and grow
- Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork
- Effective prioritization skills
- Preferred: experience on global/international projects
- Preferred: SQL proficiency and deep analytical expertise
- Preferred: experience with consumer-facing products and apps
- Preferred: experience bringing products to market from 0 to 1 with operations/commercial teams
- Preferred: experience working with user or market research teams
- Preferred: proven project and stakeholder management across large, complex initiatives
- Preferred: strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Preferred: ability to juggle competing priorities
