Digital Operations Specialist

Summary

Nymbus is a fintech company that helps banks and financial institutions modernize their digital capabilities. The Digital Operations Specialist supports core deposit operations and daily General Ledger balancing across consumer and commercial portfolios to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant transaction processing. This role also partners cross-functionally to improve operational workflows and scalability.

What you'll do

  • Process and review mobile deposits, in-clearings, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and RDI transactions.

  • Balance files daily and resolve exceptions accurately and on time.

  • Process Account-to-Account (A2A) transfers and ACH originations.

  • Perform debit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

  • Generate operational and client-facing reports in line with institutional policies.

  • Ensure deposit-related activities comply with Regulation E, Regulation CC, and NACHA rules.

  • Conduct research and provide operational support for ACH, mobile deposits, and reconciliation inquiries.

  • Perform daily General Ledger reconciliations for all digital clients.

  • Facilitate internal and external money movement transactions as required.

  • Execute daily audits and monitor dual control processes.

  • Collaborate with Product, Fraud, Compliance, and Client Services to improve workflows and client outcomes.

  • Manage and resolve tickets according to established Rules of Engagement.

  • Provide cross-training and backup support to other Deposit Operations Specialists.

  • Participate in team initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in deposit operations, banking operations, or related financial services roles.

  • Fintech industry experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of NACHA rules and applicable banking regulations (including Regulation E and Regulation CC).

  • Knowledge of operational risk controls and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills; ability to meet daily production deadlines.

  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, remote environment.

Conditions

  • Remote-first; fully remote role with occasional travel for client meetings or team gatherings.

  • Annual salary range: $50,000 to $60,000, plus annual cash bonus and equity options (commensurate with level and experience).
