Associate, Strategic Finance - LMS

Summary

LinkedIn is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to support the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) organization within the Monetization Strategic Finance team. The role partners closely with Product and R&D to drive top- and bottom-line impact through analysis, operational insights, forecasting, and strategic initiatives across LinkedIn’s advertising business.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to strategy development with business partners and help operationalize ideas into execution plans.
  • Pressure test growth opportunities and support business-wide initiatives (e.g., SMB growth, partnership strategy, data growth, billing, long-term planning).
  • Communicate forecasts, analyses, trends, and implications to management and cross-functional stakeholders with appropriate business context.
  • Use data-driven narratives to influence stakeholders and support decision-making in group discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support initiative growth with a metrics-oriented perspective.
  • Develop standard workstreams and operational processes; identify obstacles and recommend improvements.
  • Create, maintain, and update basic models and forecasts for assigned metrics.
  • Access, transform, and synthesize data from cross-platform sources to identify signals, trends, and risks.
  • Form hypotheses from data signals and execute ad hoc analyses to derive actionable insights.
  • Support experimentation design with cross-functional teams to close deviations from targets.
  • Contribute to culture and values (including diversity, inclusion, and belonging) through collaboration, feedback, and participation in initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.

  • Experience: 1+ years in finance, finance/accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Preferred: 1+ year experience in the technology industry.

  • Preferred: Experience with SQL or working with large datasets.

  • Skills: Financial modeling, data analysis, forecasting, problem solving, project management/collaboration, communication, stakeholder influence.

  • Working style: Ability to operate autonomously to seek information, solve conceptual problems, align resources, and deliver results in challenging situations.

Conditions

  • Work arrangement: Hybrid (home and LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).

  • Locations: San Francisco, CA or Mountain View, CA.

  • Compensation: Pay range $80,000 to $128,000 annually (total compensation may include annual bonus, stock, and benefits).

  • Benefits: Eligible for benefits and other incentive compensation plans (per LinkedIn benefits program).
