The Analyst, CRM (CRM Performance Specialist) leads financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for Macy’s CRM outbound communications to support business objectives and optimize digital strategies.

What you'll do

  • Lead execution of financial plans for outbound CRM communications using KPIs such as conversion rates, units-per-transaction, and funnel metrics.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
  • Conduct monthly forecasting and update projections based on business trends and performance to improve profitability.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports on conversion, units-per-transaction, and other key metrics.
  • Use advanced financial planning and data analysis tools/software to support decision-making.
  • Present financial analyses and insights to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management/Product Analytics, and Finance to align plans with promotional events, investment tactics, and initiatives.
  • Communicate performance insights to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial planning operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university (or equivalent work experience in a related field).
  • Prior experience in reporting and analytics.
  • Prior experience in investment banking or consulting (required).
  • Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Ability to analyze performance, identify trends/variances, and produce actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with advanced financial planning and data analysis tools/software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with strategy.
  • Process improvement mindset, including creating/maintaining SOPs.
  • High attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.
