Checkout Team Associate

Walmart is hiring a Checkout Team Associate (Front End Checkout) to operate registers and deliver a positive customer experience. The role focuses on greeting customers, scanning items, processing payments, and assisting with questions while maintaining a friendly attitude.

• Run cash registers and ring up customer items accurately.

• Greet, smile, thank customers, and provide friendly front-end service.

• Process customer payments and complete checkout transactions.

• Assist customers with questions and needs during checkout.

• Stand for extended periods while working at the front end.

• Ability to provide positive customer service (greet, assist, and thank customers).

• Comfort working on registers and handling payment transactions.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to work available shifts (mid-shift and closing).

• Compliance with Walmart’s drug-free workplace and no-tolerance policy for illegal drugs and alcohol on the job.

• Pay: $17–$30 per hour (actual hourly rate meets or exceeds applicable minimum wage); performance incentives (annual or quarterly) and potential hourly premiums ($0.35–$3.00) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
