BrainRocket is a global tech company creating end-to-end products for Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing clients. We are seeking a Senior SDET/Test Automation Engineer to architect a modern, scalable TypeScript-based testing framework and build quality infrastructure from scratch. This role emphasizes a code-first testing discipline where tests live alongside source code rather than in isolated QA silos.

• Architect and build a modern, scalable automation framework from scratch using TypeScript
• Implement full test pyramid coverage: Unit, Integration (API), and E2E (UI)
• Drive the 'tests alongside code' approach, ensuring tests reside in the same repository as the source code
• Improve Developer Experience by creating fixtures, mocks, and helpers for local testing
• Integrate quality gates into GitLab CI pipelines to ensure fast and reliable feedback
• Mentor engineers on testing best practices and writing testable code

• 3+ years of experience building automation frameworks from the ground up
• Strong TypeScript expertise (generics, interfaces, strict typing)
• Experience with modern automation patterns (Page Object Model, Screenplay, Composition)
• Solid understanding of API and backend testing (REST, GraphQL, microservices)
• Experience with Docker and debugging CI/CD pipelines
• Proactive mindset focused on preventing bugs through better tooling and engineering practices
• Nice to have: Contract Testing experience and understanding of frontend/backend frameworks
