Senior Manual QA Engineer

PayPilot is a fast-growing fintech startup building next-generation B2B and B2C international payment solutions. We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer with strong API and backend testing expertise to ensure product stability and quality.

• Manually test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman and Swagger
• Validate request/response formats, HTTP status codes, and backend business logic
• Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and edge cases with clear reporting
• Write and maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation
• Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements
• Perform regression testing of backend components
• Analyze logs and inspect database records to report backend issues
• Participate in test planning and improve testing processes

• 3-4 years of manual QA experience with backend focus
• Proficiency with Postman, Swagger, JSON, and HTTP basics
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, response structures, and status codes
• Ability to write clear bug reports and reproductions
• Basic SQL/logs skills or eagerness to learn
• Experience testing fintech products, banking APIs, or payment systems (nice to have)
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (nice to have)
• English proficiency for reading documentation and writing bug reports
