Summary
Dataforest is seeking a QA Engineer for a challenging project with a friendly and supportive team. The role focuses on testing web applications built with JavaScript frameworks and REST APIs.
What you'll do
- Test web applications developed with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, pure JS)
- Test REST API backends
- Write test documentation
- Collaborate with team using JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems
- Perform API testing using Postman
- Work on fintech and payment system projects
Requirements
- 1+ year experience testing web applications with JavaScript frontend and REST API backend
- Knowledge of software development life cycle
- Experience writing test documentation
- Experience with teamwork tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket
- Good communication skills and positive mindset
- Experience in an outsourcing company (required)
- Preferred: API testing with Postman, Stripe or payment system experience, Fintech knowledge
