PLANEKS is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join their dynamic team working on hospitality automation services. The role involves ensuring quality and reliability of web applications while establishing structured testing processes and supporting development efforts for innovative hospitality solutions.

• Quickly gain in-depth understanding of the project and contribute effectively to the testing process
• Establish structured and efficient testing cycles to improve product quality without slowing development
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user scenarios
• Conduct thorough manual testing of web applications focusing on functionality, usability, and third-party system integration
• Test complex calculation algorithms to ensure accuracy and reliability in various tipping models
• Identify, document, and report bugs and issues clearly and accurately using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Test APIs, integrations, payment gateways, processing flows, and payroll systems for security and compliance

Hard Skills:

• Strong experience in software quality assurance, test planning, and execution
• Extensive experience in manual testing of web applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Proficiency in functional, regression, and integration testing
• Ability to design and execute detailed test cases based on business requirements
• Expertise in testing APIs and integrations with third-party systems
• Hands-on experience testing payment gateways and payroll systems
• Ability to test complex algorithms and data-driven calculations
• Strong skills with defect tracking tools like Jira or Trello
• Nice to Have: Basic Python and JavaScript (React) knowledge, Git experience, understanding of CI/CD processes, Selenium or Cypress familiarity, performance and security testing knowledge
