QA Engineer (manual)

Dataforest is seeking a QA Engineer for manual testing of web applications. The role involves testing JavaScript-based frontend applications and REST API backends in a supportive, international team environment with challenging projects.

• Test web applications developed with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, pure JS)
• Test REST API on the backend
• Write test documentation
• Collaborate using teamwork tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git/Bitbucket
• Work on challenging projects and build interesting applications from scratch

• 1+ year of experience testing web applications
• Experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, pure JS)
• Knowledge of REST API testing
• Knowledge of software development life cycle
• Experience writing test documentation
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Git/Bitbucket
• Good communication skills and positive mindset
• Experience in an outsourcing company (required)
• Nice to have: Postman API testing, Stripe or payment system experience, Fintech experience
