CuraLinc Healthcare
QA Analyst
Remote Middle
Summary
CuraLinc Healthcare is hiring a QA Analyst to improve confidence in releases across an expanding product portfolio supporting complex end-to-end journeys across web and native iOS/Android experiences. This is a hands-on manual testing role partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering to validate workflows, surface edge cases, and communicate release risk before changes reach customers.
What you'll do
- Own release readiness for key features by proposing and executing a right-sized QA approach based on change size and risk, with attention to mobile user impact.
- Provide clear release recommendations, including coverage, risks, follow-ups needed, and blockers for release.
- Validate behavior across rollout conditions and configurations (e.g., feature flags, partial enablement).
- Perform deep exploratory testing across end-to-end flows, including permissions/roles, data boundaries, error handling, and atypical user paths.
- Test iOS and Android apps across devices, OS versions, and screen sizes; validate mobile behaviors such as gestures, notifications, backgrounding, offline states, and permissions.
- Identify fragile points in complex journeys and propose practical improvements to reduce repeat defects.
- Validate UI behavior across web, desktop, and mobile release-candidate builds; ensure consistency with Figma designs and baseline accessibility expectations.
- Use tools such as Postman to validate APIs, integrations, and data-dependent flows.
- Support defect triage with strong evidence (repro steps, screenshots, videos, logs, and device/environment details).
- Partner with Product to refine acceptance criteria and uncover hidden requirements early, especially for mobile UX flows.
- Maintain lightweight regression coverage (charters, checklists) for critical and high-risk areas across platforms.
- Collaborate with Automation QA Engineers to balance manual vs. automated coverage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience with strong hands-on manual testing across modern web and mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
- Proven exploratory testing skills and ability to uncover edge cases in complex, multi-step workflows.
- Understanding of modern QA tooling and practices, including exposure to automation frameworks and/or AI-assisted testing tools.
- Release readiness mindset with ability to assess risk and communicate go/no-go decisions.
- Experience documenting and tracking defects using tools such as Jira/Confluence; able to write clear, actionable bug reports.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative Agile environments and collaborating cross-functionally.
Preferred:
- Experience validating behavior behind feature flags or across multiple rollout states.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive mobile design considerations.
- Experience testing regulated or healthcare-related products.
- Experience using automation or AI-assisted testing tools to complement manual testing.
Conditions
- Full-time, salaried role.
- Location: continental United States and Hawaii.
- Benefits: robust package including 100% company-paid single tier medical coverage, PTO, 401(k) with match, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
