Exness is a leading global trading broker with 1M+ clients and 40M+ trades daily across 13 countries. The QA Engineer role focuses on testing and automation for Trading Support Tools—internal and client-facing services that empower support agents and enhance client trading experience.
What you'll do
- Define scope, test approach, and acceptance criteria during refinement and sprint-planning meetings
- Prepare and configure test environments with data, mocks, and feature flags; execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests
- Design, implement, and maintain UI, API, e2e, and integration tests using test design techniques
- Maintain effective test suites and contribute to automation framework improvements
- Integrate automated checks into GitLab CI; monitor pipelines and collaborate with DevOps
- Participate in production deployments and monitor post-deploy acceptance tests
- Provide daily status reports separating manual and automated results with risk highlights
- Work closely with developers, DevOps, designers, and product owners throughout the sprint
- Mentor team members in quality engineering and establish quality standards across SDLC
- Support cross-team feature testing and lead integration testing when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of proven QA Engineer experience in backend and frontend application testing
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, approaches, and test design techniques (boundary values, equivalence classes)
- Experience with Python (Pytest) and willingness to work with Go as primary automation language
- Hands-on experience with UI and API testing tools: Playwright, Selenium, Postman, or Insomnia
- Practical experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Strong SQL knowledge for querying and data aggregation
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocol, and web service patterns
- Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD systems (GitLab CI)
- Familiarity with logs and metrics analysis tools (Graylog, Grafana)
- Ability to translate business requirements into testable criteria and identify edge cases
- Attention to detail with focus on data accuracy in financial/transactional domains
- Strong ownership and quality accountability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- English proficiency: B2 level minimum, C1 preferred
- ISTQB Foundation or similar certifications are a plus
