QA Engineer

Praetorix is seeking QA Engineers to support multiple projects across their technology portfolio. The role focuses on manual testing for new releases, maintaining test cases, and progressively transitioning to AI-assisted automated testing. This position is critical to ensure reliable and consistent testing across projects.

• Execute existing manual test steps across projects and releases
• Refine, enhance, and expand manual test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Maintain a catalogue of manual test steps for current and upcoming projects
• Develop and maintain QA reports tracking test results, defects, and progress
• Assist in diagnosing issues with test scripts or product functionality
• Support resolution of support tickets related to QA testing
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure efficient and non-disruptive testing
• Progressively convert manual test cases into automated test suites using AI-assisted tools
• Perform other QA-related tasks as required

• Proven experience in manual QA testing across multiple projects
• Understanding of automation testing concepts and willingness to work with AI-assisted tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality test documentation
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with QA reporting, bug tracking, or test management tools (preferred)
• Experience converting manual tests into automated tests (preferred)
• Proactive mindset to identify gaps and improve QA processes (preferred)
