Technical Pricing Manager

Everywhen is seeking a Technical Pricing Manager to lead and deliver technical pricing strategy across the organization. This role focuses on creating sustainable pricing models, monitoring market dynamics, and supporting profitable growth through strategic insights and data governance.

• Lead and deliver technical pricing strategy across Geo including technical pricing and market pricing reviews
• Create and maintain processes ensuring pricing models are fit for purpose and monitor inflation and market dynamics
• Oversee aggregation monitoring (flood, hail, conflagration) and propose risk-control mechanisms with Central Underwriting Office
• Produce clear pricing MI supporting binder performance and portfolio management
• Contribute to M&A due diligence assessing target pricing models
• Ensure strong data governance and data quality across pricing and exposure management
• Build trusted relationships internally and externally championing actuarial team value
• Lead production of Generalised Linear Models and other pricing models
• Encourage team development and maintain high professional standards

• Part-qualified actuary with minimum two years experience or equivalent actuarial expertise
• At least two years experience in technical pricing or related analytical field
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Essential programming knowledge of SQL and R
• Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lead GLM and other pricing model production
• Clear, adaptable communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Desirable: data governance and pricing compliance understanding
• Desirable: general insurance underwriting and commercial pricing experience
• Desirable: experience with Python and actuarial pricing software (e.g. Emblem)
• Desirable: people and process management experience
