The Strategic Finance Associate will support LinkedIn Marketing Solutions by driving top- and bottom-line impact through analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. The role partners cross-functionally to support growth via GTM, partnerships strategy, operating model work, and long-term planning.
What you'll do
- Contribute to strategy development with business partners within a defined scope.
- Validate and execute routine pressure testing of growth opportunities.
- Operationalize ideas and develop execution plans with support from senior team members.
- Build collaborative relationships across teams and incorporate feedback to understand priorities and constraints.
- Communicate implications of forecasts, analyses, and trends to management and cross-functional stakeholders with appropriate business context.
- Use data and insights to create narratives that influence stakeholders with some guidance.
- Synthesize problems and present points of view to support decision-making in smaller group discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support initiative growth with a metrics-oriented perspective.
- Respond to stakeholder questions and support ongoing requests.
- Develop standard workstreams and operational processes following defined procedures.
- Identify obstacles within scope and make recommendations.
- Create, maintain, and update basic models and forecasts for assigned metrics.
- Access, transform, and synthesize data from cross-platform sources to assess signals, trends, and risks.
- Develop hypotheses based on signals, trends, and risks; run ad hoc analyses to test hypotheses and answer business questions.
- Derive actionable insights and support experiment design to close deviations from targets.
- Support culture and values (including diversity, inclusion, and belonging) through collaboration, feedback, and participation in organizational initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in finance, finance/accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience in the technology industry.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, problem solving, financial acumen, stakeholder management, forecasting, data analysis.
Conditions
- Work arrangement: Hybrid (work from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by business needs).
- Compensation: Pay range $80,000–$128,000 annually; total compensation may include annual bonus, stock, and benefits.
